Welcome to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School. We are second oldest Catholic school in Galveston County. We want you to explore our new web site and help us to continue our vision and mission to educate Catholic and non-Catholic students in the heart of Texas City. Here are some ways to help us grow: volunteer, provide in-kind donations or donate to the Fatima Giving Fund.

We welcome and embrace learning about learning in a safe and nurturing environment embedded in Catholic identity and academic excellence in the heart of Texas City.

    • History

Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School was founded in 1949 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.  Today, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word partner with St. Mary Miraculous Medal Catholic Church to continue the operation of Our Lady of Fatima School.  Our Lady of Fatima offers a comprehensive educational program for pre-school through 8th grade. The school operates under the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department.

Our Lady of Fatima remains committed to educating the students in spiritual values and honors the dignity and uniqueness of each student. We focus on providing a strong Catholic education in a warm and nurturing Christ-centered environment. Our Pre-K 3 through Kindergarten program offers an excellent Montessori-based curriculum while grades 1-8 provide accelerated and traditional instructional programs. All grades participate in Spanish, music, physical education, art, and technology courses. The students learn about the love and word of God and the necessity of sharing God’s love with all people through service to the community.
