SCHOOL TUITION AND FEES
2008-2009

Monthly Tuition and Extended Day Rates are payable in 11 installments due on the 1st of the month - July through May.
Receive 5% discount for Yearly tuition amount paid in full by July 1, 2008.
Receive 2% discount for tuition paid in two installments – July 1^st and December 1^st

Pre-K3 & Pre-K4

$115.00 for 1 student                        $200.00 for families of 2 or more
(Registration not accepted on delinquent accounts.)

ADDITIONAL FEES:
BOOKS, CONSUMABLE MATERIALS, DIOCESAN TAXES, TESTING, STUDENT INSURANCE, TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE AND ART LABS, TCCED FEE: $300.00 Kindergarten – 6^th Grade

SMART TUITION FEE: $38.00 per family
NEW STUDENT APPLICATION FEE: $15.00
HOME SCHOOL ASSOCIATION:  $10.00 per family
TUITION LATE FEE: $10.00 FOR PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER THE 10^TH OF THE MONTH.
RETURNED CHECK FEE: $20.00 PER RETURNED CHECK

EXTENDED DAY (3:00 – 5:30):
REGISTRATION FOR EXTENDED DAY: $25.00 per child
MONTHLY FEE: $165.00 per student ($8.25 per day)                        Late Pick -Up Fee: $2.00 per minute per child

DROP-IN RATE: $5.00/hr for any part of the hour. If you utilize our Drop-In Program, an Extended Daycare Card must be purchased for $50.00 or $100.00. A reimbursement will be issued at the end of the year for any unused amount. This fee will be handled through the school office.

ADDITIONAL FEES

All fees are non-refundable. 1^st month’s tuition is non-refundable. Registration fees are due at time of registration. Other fees MUST be paid by October 1^st.

Discounted family rates are based on oldest child paying full rate for their appropriate level. Discounted rates for second and third child based on their grade level rates. For families with four or more children, tuition is waived for the 4^th child on.

The tuition you pay does not cover the total cost of educating your child. The average cost to educate each child here at Our Lady of Fatima is $5,500.00. We thank the parishioners of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Church for investing in our school. We ask that you support us in all our fund raising efforts and other school activities. Tuition assistance is available to eligible families and must be applied for each year.

Incentive Discount

There will be an incentive discount of $225.00 applied towards tuition for a currently registered family that brings in a new student. The new student must register and attend our school. Tuition discounts will be applied beginning with the December tuition.

All families that enroll their children at Our Lady of Fatima are required to support the fundraising efforts of the school and parish. We expect our families to equally share in the organizing and preparation of the different events of the school, especially the Fall Bazaar, Fish Fries, and Field Day. All families are expected to help at those three functions. A form will be included in the registration packet at sign up for other sponsored events such as Santa’s Secret Shop, Christmas program, Spring Cake Auction, Flea Market, etc. The success of these events helps keep tuition below the actual per pupil cost.

Our Lady of Fatima recognizes the need to keep Catholic education affordable for as many children as possible. Tuition assistance is given based on need rather than academic excellence. Families must complete the assistance application to be considered for tuition assistance. All information and communication is held in strictest confidence. A family must apply for a tuition grant each year. Tuition grants will be limited to a portion of the total tuition.

Grade levels fill up quickly. To be assured of a place, register early. Once a grade level is filled, students will be placed on a waiting list.
